Christine German

Christine is a new member of the Robbinex financial team, joining in November 2006. Christine comes to Robbinex with 10 years IT experience as well as four exciting, educational, interesting and sometimes stressful years of owning and operating her own business.

In 2002, Christine took over a family business located in Oakville, ON. Jerdan Door & Frame Ltd. is a hollow metal door and frame / steel welding, fabrication business. Christine was responsible for all aspects of running this business. This gives Christine valuable insight and the ability to put herself in most Robbinex client’s “shoes”. Many of the successes, failures, satisfactions, and frustrations that accompany business ownership have been experienced by Christine.

In 2005, Christine approached Robbinex Inc. to assist her in finding a buyer and selling her business. After implementing changes recommended by the staff at Robbinex to increase the value of the business it was sold in July 2006, Christine successfully sold her business to another small business owner looking for a new challenge.

Prior to Christine’s adventures in entrepreneurship, she worked extensively in the Information Technology field. This included Technical support and project management in a networked environment using IBM’s AS/400 midrange system as the main business application platform.

Not one to be all work and no play, Christine has many interests outside of her new career. With two young daughters, an almost fanatical love of all things bookish, a great group of family and friends and the silliest looking dog on earth, Christine’s life is busy in the best sort of way.
