Glenn
joined the Robbinex team in 2008 as an account executive. In this capacity, he works closely
with business owners in negotiating the sale of their company, consulting with buyers as to possible
financial structures, and oversees due diligence as part of the closing agenda.
Licensed under the Real Estate Council of Ontario, Glenn received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto and Financial Management from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to joining Robbinex, Glenn began his career with a firm of chartered accountants specializing in financial management for small businesses. He spent ten years in the automotive industry as Senior Vice-President of a major OEM component manufacturer supplying the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry. He established manufacturing and distribution facilities in Vancouver, British Columbia; Mississauga, Ontario; and Bellingham, Washington, USA.
As Director of Dealer Development for a multi-billion dollar company specializing in the manufacture and distribution of industrial and medical gases, Glenn was responsible for the development of the Canadian marketplace through the merger and acquisition of existing dealer outlets and the establishment of new business ventures resulting in 58 locations and over $150 million in annual sales.
After spending over 20 years in the corporate world, Glenn embarked on his own entrepreneurial business ventures by purchasing and developing a number of small to mid-sized businesses, ranging from heavy duty truck and trailer repair, to the retail world of building supplies and custom cabinetry.
Glenn enjoys sailing and reading in his spare time.
