Doug Robbins Elected to Hall of Fellows

The International Association of Business Brokers (IBBA) is pleased to announce that Doug Robbins has achieved the Fellow of the Certified Business Intermediary (FCBI) designation.

Doug Robbins is president of Robbinex Inc., a leading North American mergers and acquisitions consulting form specializing in the sale of medium to large sized private businesses. Established in 1975, Robbinex is the largest and longest-serving firm of its kind in Canada. The firm is based in Hamilton, Ontario with affiliate offices in western Ontario, British Columbia, New York and Michigan.

Mr. Robbins was elected to the Hall of Fellows in recognition of more than a decade of continuous service and contributions to the IBBA, including the development of numerous education courses and guidelines for business intermediaries. He is recognized throughout the profession as a leader in promoting professional standards and development for business intermediaries. Mr. Robbins became a member of IBBA in 1989 and achieved his CBI designation later that year.

He received his FCBI designation in November 2000 at the IBBA 32nd Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

FCBI is the top designation available for certified business intermediaries who have demonstrated professionalism and dedication to the business brokerage industry.
